Digital IT Summer Internships

About This Role

This internship offers students hands-on work experience in Digital IT, solving real-life problems within a multi-functional team environment. Interns will contribute to projects supporting a diverse information systems environment across various business areas like Product & Innovation, Supply Chain, Commercial, HR, and IT Foundation.

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of Digital IT related projects
• Identify areas where AI can accelerate design iterations, simulate performance, or predict outcomes
• Assist in cleaning and structuring historical product data for machine learning models
• Build simple predictive models or recommendation systems using Python and business analytics skills
• Analyze production data for bottlenecks, quality issues, or predictive maintenance opportunities
• Apply machine learning techniques to improve demand forecasting and inventory management
• Support data governance efforts for ethical and compliant AI use
• Analyze customer data and identify segments for targeted marketing campaigns
• Build models to predict sales trends and support strategic planning
• Help define data pipelines and architecture needed to support scalable AI solutions

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a B.S. or M.S./MBA program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business/Management Information Systems, AI, or Data Science/Analytics
• Successful completion of at least the Junior year of college prior to the start of the internship and continued pursuit of your degree in the fall
• Ability to commit to a (minimum) 10-week summer internship
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Drive and initiative; a self-starter
• Demonstrated ability to learn and apply knowledge related to area of study
• Demonstrated ability to drive projects or initiatives through to completion
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with a team
