Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN)

About This Role

This role is for a Dialysis Registered Nurse responsible for utilizing the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care to patients on a nursing unit, including interdisciplinary and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources
• Oversee dialysis treatments required by patients suffering from acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required)

Requirements

• RN License in the state you are applying
• Current BLS certification

Nice to Have

• Current ACLS certification (required after 90 days)
• Certification through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC)
