Habitat for Humanity of Greater Garland is looking for an experienced Development Director to lead fundraising efforts and grant acquisition for its strategic growth initiative. This role involves cultivating donations, managing fundraising events, and representing the organization publicly.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a plan for growth through the cultivation of donations & grants
- Take ownership of fundraising events
- Act as a professional and accurate public representative for the organization
- Comprehensively learn all aspects of HFHGG, its programs, initiatives, and policies
- Work cross-functionally with other teams and team members
Requirements
- Measurable history in the Development Sector
- Development/Fund Raising experience with measurable results
- Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent
- Extremely detail oriented with critical thinking acumen
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent writing & communication skills, and superb listening skills
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent
- Measurable history of success in the Development sector, with fundraising and grant experience
