Destinations Operations Excellence Intern

About This Role

Join the Carnival Summer Internship Program to gain hands-on experience in destinations operations excellence. You will contribute to impactful projects, analyze operational data, and develop standardized procedures to enhance guest satisfaction and efficiency at exclusive corporate ports.

Responsibilities

• Develop standardized operating procedures for paid, guest-facing services at Half Moon Cay
• Gather product information for various tours, rentals, and the beach club
• Determine setup, operating, and turnaround procedures to ensure high guest satisfaction
• Analyze operational data including service, excursions, and team time to identify trends and inefficiencies
• Develop reports and insights through dashboards and summaries to guide improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to optimize post-launch experiences
• Contribute to impactful projects and enhance processes
• Gain firsthand insights into daily operations

Requirements

• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Strong analytical abilities in collecting, interpreting, and analyzing operational data
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, charts, formulas)
• Process-oriented mindset for documenting and standardizing processes
• Skilled at investigating issues, synthesizing information, and proposing solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities
• Highly organized and detail-oriented

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools
• Previous internship, coursework, or project experience in operations, process improvement, or data analytics
• Experience creating SOPs, building dashboards, or conducting operational research
• Familiarity with hospitality or service operations
