This role will support the design process from start to finish, including learning construction documentation and company standards. The Designer 1 will stay updated on new materials and assist with client presentations and design materials to bring creative and innovative designs to life.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design process from start to finish, from sketches to 3D models, under Design Manager leadership
- Collaborate with the team to bring creative concepts to life and ensure seamless project execution
- Assist in construction documentation (CDs) and picking up redlines to maintain design integrity
- Work closely with designers and Managers to ensure coordination and clear, up-to-date project files
- Stay on trend with new materials, finishes, lighting, and design trends
- Support client meetings by assisting with presentations and preparing design materials
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design
- Fundamental knowledge working in design software like Revit, CAD, InDesign, SketchUp, Photoshop
- Understanding of interior construction, building codes, and accessibility standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design
