- Long history of active and robust extramural research funding
- Ability to support investigators
- Excellent strategic skills and financial acumen
- Academic accomplishments and national recognition for achievement in research pursuits that warrants a tenured appointment
- High-impact publications and a strong track record
- Demonstrated track record of mentorship and evidence of having developed others in their academic careers
Qualifications
- Ph.D., M.D., M.D./Ph.D or equivalent degree
- Progressive administrative leadership experience in an academic medical center environment, a long history of active and robust extramural research funding
