About This Role

The Dental Assistant will be an integral part of an onsite and mobile Dental Clinic, ensuring patients receive high-quality care. This role involves greeting patients, preparing them for treatment, assisting dentists and hygienists, and ensuring proper sterilization of equipment.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and review their medical and dental histories
Prepare patients for treatment
Assist the dentist or hygienist during procedures
Take X-rays
Ensure all equipment and materials are properly sterilized

Requirements

Graduation from a Dental Assisting School OR minimum of 6 months of relevant experience
Current BLS/CPR Healthcare Provider certification
Blood Borne Pathogens training
Valid Washington State Dental Assistant Registration Certificate
Familiarity with CDC sterilization standards
Familiarity with patient safety protocols
Familiarity with OSHA and WISHA regulations

Qualifications

Graduate of Dental Assisting School or equivalent
Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience or graduation from a Dental Assisting School
