Dental Assistant

About This Role

The Dental Assistant will be an integral part of an onsite and mobile Dental Clinic, ensuring patients receive high-quality care. This role involves greeting patients, preparing them for treatment, assisting dentists and hygienists, and ensuring proper sterilization of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and review their medical and dental histories
• Prepare patients for treatment
• Assist the dentist or hygienist during procedures
• Take X-rays
• Ensure all equipment and materials are properly sterilized

Requirements

• Graduation from a Dental Assisting School OR minimum of 6 months of relevant experience
• Current BLS/CPR Healthcare Provider certification
• Blood Borne Pathogens training
• Valid Washington State Dental Assistant Registration Certificate
• Familiarity with CDC sterilization standards
• Familiarity with patient safety protocols
• Familiarity with OSHA and WISHA regulations

Qualifications

• Graduate of Dental Assisting School or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience or graduation from a Dental Assisting School
