Dental Assistant

About This Role

This role is for an experienced Dental Assistant to join a high-end clinical environment, assisting doctors in a variety of procedures and ensuring an excellent patient experience. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for operatory management, sterilization, and detailed digital imaging.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor in a full range of general and specialty procedures, stepping in seamlessly during procedures
• Capture detailed digital impressions and diagnostic records using software systems and other digital tools
• Take digital X-rays, intraoral photos, and scans
• Manage attachments and post-op protocols efficiently and accurately
• Serve as a trusted extension of the provider, bridging the gap between provider and patient
• Follow OSHA and infection control protocols
• Meticulously set up and break down rooms between patients
• Sterilize instruments according to protocol and track usage
• Translate clinical information into easy-to-understand guidance while reinforcing the doctor’s treatment recommendations

Requirements

• Dental Office experience
• 2+ years experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental practice
• Proficiency with iTero, Dentrix, and digital charting
• Experience in crown and bridge, fillings, and cosmetic dentistry
• Understanding of sterilization protocols and OSHA standards

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental practice
