Delivery Driver/Warehouse

About This Role

This role involves safely delivering products and managing warehouse logistics for Connor Co., requiring a career-minded individual for a long-term part-time position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare truck for operation by inspecting general condition, fluid levels, and tire pressure
• Maintain truck operating efficiency by completing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting malfunctions
• Load delivery truck securely to prevent product damages
• Deliver items by identifying destinations, establishing routes, operating the truck, unloading items, and maintaining schedule
• Use a cell phone to report on progress of deliveries
• Pick up return items for the company
• Verify products delivered against packing slips and obtain customer signatures
• Process inbound materials to the warehouse, comparing quantities against manifests
• Efficiently and effectively load and unload trucks
• Inspect items according to instructions and report damaged goods
• Ensure materials are placed in designated areas within the warehouse
• Stack skids or pallets in designated areas
• Perform general housekeeping duties including sweeping, mopping, and dusting
• Assist customers at the counter

Requirements

• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Clean driving record
• Critical thinking skills
• Mathematical reasoning ability
• Very detail-oriented and focused for accuracy
• Ability to perform assignments with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to determine and prioritize workload
• Ability to read directions and use a street map
• Physical strength to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent
