About This Role

This role supports a McLane Delivery Driver by physically unloading trailers and placing items in customer-designated storage areas. It ensures accurate, on-time deliveries and requires strong safety practices.

Responsibilities

  • Unload trailer using a hand truck or 2-wheeled dolly
  • Place all delivery items in customer-designated food-safe storage areas
  • Assist the Driver's efforts to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries
  • Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to lift and move product and pallets which may weigh up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely
