Data Partner - Business Writer - Navajo

About This Role

TELUS Digital is seeking Navajo language Annotators for a Writing and Annotation project. This role involves completing paragraphs and judging the quality of writing assistant outputs based on linguistic acceptability, output quality, hallucinations, and overall content quality.

Responsibilities

• Complete paragraphs with 50-100 words based on a given text (context/paragraph starting)
• Judge texts in Navajo based on linguistic acceptability, evaluating if the text sounds right
• Assess the quality of writing assistant outputs against specific feature instructions
• Identify any invented content or 'hallucinations' within the generated texts
• Evaluate the general quality of the output content

Requirements

• Native speaker of Navajo
• Currently located in the US
• Pass the English Fluency Test and the Navajo Fluency Test
• Over 18 years old
• Access to a computer (desktop/laptop) and stable Internet connection

• Experience in writing, annotation or similar tasks
