Data & Insights Analyst

About This Role

This Data & Insights Analyst role collects, manipulates, and analyzes a wide variety of data using business analytics, big data, A/B testing, and statistics to address key business questions. The role develops technical capability and business acumen to perform quantitative analysis for predictive analysis, forecasting, and modeling across the company.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate statistical analysis to support business needs
• Design, develop, and deliver analytical solutions, visualizations, and decision support models
• Undertake advanced forecasting and build predictive models using historical and existing data
• Execute data analysis across business segments to design solutions and proposals for various business leads
• Synthesize and communicate analysis recommendations for fact-based business decision-making
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize data-driven opportunities

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in progressive data analytics environments
• Excellent Excel skills
• Powerpoint and G Slides proficiency with solid storytelling
• Working knowledge of SQL and RDBMS
• Solid understanding of data concepts (databases, schemas, data lakes, ETL, data quality)
• Experience with scripting/programming languages Python and R
• Working knowledge of statistical concepts (distributions, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals) and applying them to real-world applications
• Exposure to A/B Testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Economics or equivalent work experience
• 1 to 3 years of experience in progressive data analytics environments

• Knowledge of Alteryx
• Knowledge of Nielsen
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies
