Data Engineering Intern

About This Role

Join Colgate-Palmolive as a Data Engineering Intern to design and implement data models and dashboards for operational analytics within the Global Information Technology (GIT) organization, focusing on finance and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building, maintaining and monitoring data pipelines and CI/CD automations
• Collaborate with team members to understand needs, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions
• Document data flows and contribute to internal knowledge bases
• Prepare data for ad-hoc reports and support data validation processes
• Support BI reports and dashboards in Sigma

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program with graduation date of or later than December 2026
• Documentation of authorization to work in the United States, not requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future
• Minimum GPA of 2.8
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
• Ability to work hybrid at the Piscataway, NJ office location
• Ability to work 35 hours/week during the Summer and 20 hours/week during the Fall semester
• Ability to work collaboratively with professionals of diverse backgrounds and technological skill levels
• Intermediate to advanced Python programming skills
• Intermediate to advanced SQL programming skills
• Knowledge of, or experience modeling data schemas and database architecture
• Knowledge of, or experience with data visualization/visual language of dashboarding

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Business/ IT Systems Management, or a related field
