Data Analyst, Innovation Center

About This Role

This role supports Rochester Regional Health's innovation efforts by performing business intelligence analysis and reporting, focusing on performance excellence metrics. The Data Analyst will collaborate with operations and shared services to achieve strategic objectives and improve organizational performance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to acquire data for innovation opportunities
• Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for innovation
• Assist in building insights for organizational innovation performance excellence plans
• Collect and analyze data for performance excellence and innovation
• Participate in innovation projects and support monitoring of key performance metrics
• Use the latest technologies to build tools and business insights
• Design and create specifications to support report development
• Utilize multiple types of operational, financial, and information technology reporting mediums to create required reporting
• Understand reporting objectives, gather data requirements, and create reporting solutions
• Perform testing, data validations, and end-user acceptance to support reporting accuracy and business need satisfaction

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Information Technology or a related field
• Analytical ability to develop and interpret application of data
• Technical knowledge of data collection and analysis
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical data analysis software applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field
• 1-5 years of business intelligence or report writing experience preferred

• EPIC Certification
• 1-5 years of business intelligence or report writing experience
• Innovative mindset with a focus for curiosity and problem solving
• Power BI and/or Qlik experience
