Cybersecurity Intern

About This Role

The Cybersecurity Intern will support the Corporate Security and Investigations team, identifying and mitigating threats to the organization. This role offers opportunities to contribute to real-world projects and develop skills in security and threat analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support projects within CLEAR’s Corporate Security and Investigations team
• Identify, assess, and mitigate threats to the organization, including activity on social media and other external platforms
• Assist in evaluating and testing security and investigative tools from external vendors

Requirements

• Currently enrolled full-time as a student, graduating anytime between Spring 2026 - Spring 2027
• Strong interest in security, investigations, and threat analysis
• Curious, analytical, and motivated to understand how technical and open-source information can be used to protect an organization
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Working knowledge of technical fundamentals such as IP addresses, basic SQL, scripting languages, digital communications metadata, and system logs
• Familiarity with open-source intelligence (OSINT) concepts, tools, and methodologies
• Experience or strong interest in identifying fraud, illegal activity, and emerging threats across online forums, social media, and digital platforms
• Ability to identify potential threats, misuse, or negative content related to the CLEAR brand and escalate appropriately
• Ability to evaluate tools and technologies and provide thoughtful feedback and recommendations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality while working with sensitive information

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Criminal Justice or related field
