Customer Service Rep - GUI

About This Role

Respond to customer inquiries, process orders, and handle complaints in a prompt, courteous, and effective manner. Work closely with customers and on-site management to address various product inquiries, special requests, and discrepancies related to shipping, receiving, billing, and invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Manage shipping and receiving activities within the system in partnership with Distribution Center Manager and Supervisors
• Process billing and invoicing with tight turnaround times and attention to detail
• Resolve any issues with billing, invoicing, shipping, and/or receiving with customers and internal management
• Communicate effectively daily (email, phone, or in-person) with customers and internal team members and management
• Act as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer in administration of accounts
• Act as a liaison between the office and customer regarding invoicing and credit changes
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and assist in enforcing them when necessary
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
• 3 years verifiable customer service experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding computer and data entry skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education; Bachelor’s degree in business or similar discipline preferred
• 3 years verifiable customer service experience
