This role involves developing and executing customer marketing programs to enhance product usage and customer retention. The consultant will collaborate with various teams to ensure consistent messaging and drive continuous improvement through data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the creation, scheduling, and execution of customer communications through multiple platforms (e.g., Eloqua, Gainsight, SFDC, etc.), ensuring consistency in messaging, tone, and brand.
- Act as a point of contact for cross-functional teams (Customer Success, Sales, Tech Support, and others) to ensure alignment and consistency of customer-facing messages.
- Collaborate closely with teams to ensure customer communications are timely, relevant, and effective across the post-sale customer experience (onboarding, activation, implementation, usage, renewals, etc.).
- Support the design and execution of customer marketing campaigns designed to increase product usage, retention, and renewals.
- Optimize ongoing campaigns based on performance data (operational reports, customer feedback, etc.) to continually improve engagement.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to document requirements and manage timelines for customer communication initiatives.
- Ensure that all product end-of-life, rollover, and seasonal communication strategies are effectively managed and aligned with company objectives.
- Monitor key customer data points (e.g., Growth Measure, Gainsight reports, Customer 360 data) to identify trends and opportunities for customer-specific communication strategies.
- Provide insights into customer behavior and campaign effectiveness, delivering reports and recommendations to leadership.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in lifecycle marketing or similar role
- Hands-on experience managing customer communication campaigns and cross-functional projects.
- Strong project management skills, including setting timelines, managing stakeholders, and meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with marketing automation and connected tools (e.g., Eloqua, Gainsight, SFDC).
- Ability to use customer data and analytics for campaign strategies and optimization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or relevant work experience.
- 5-8 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, or a similar role, with hands-on experience managing customer communication campaigns and cross-functional projects.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools, especially Salesforce and Gainsight.
- Experience in managing customer retention and advocacy programs.
- Understanding of the customer lifecycle and how to align marketing strategies.
