Customer Engineer

About This Role

Serve as an end-to-end product-solution owner for customer installations of Just Appraised's AI-powered software, ensuring successful implementation and early adoption. This role involves engaging with customers, architecting tailored solutions, and collaborating across internal teams to optimize government real estate and property tax processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive Product-Solution Ownership for each customer installation, managing scope and new requests during implementation.
• Engage with prospective customers during the Sales process to deeply understand their specific operational needs and challenges.
• Architect Custom Solutions using the Just Appraised product suite to optimize and streamline customer workflows.
• Define expected product functionality, scope Statements of Work (SOWs), and translate ambiguous customer requests into clear technical requirements.
• Set clear expectations for the time, effort, and cost implications of custom features or additional functionality.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of key product functionality and champion product enhancements with the broader team.
• Collaborate with Sales, Implementation Engineering, and Customer Success to coordinate successful and timely launch and adoption.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, kickoff meetings, training, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Proven ability to understand, prioritize, and estimate project effort and implications.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to flag risks to timeline or success criteria.
• Demonstrated ability to continuously learn, work independently, and manage shifting priorities.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge and understanding of JSON.
• Strong understanding of systems and data integration.
• Experience with ETL pipelines using RESTful APIs and file-based data exchanges.
• Experience with databases and large ERP systems.
