Creative Storyteller (Feature Writer + Video Producer)

About This Role

This remote role is for a versatile creative storyteller with experience in feature writing and video production, joining a global technology company's brand publication. The role focuses on transforming complex ideas into engaging content for senior marketers across written and video formats.

Responsibilities

• Create thoughtful, well-crafted content for senior marketers, including feature articles, white papers, video and podcast scripts, and social posts
• Use AI-assisted tools to research, draft, and refine content
• Ideate and guide video content for multiple platforms, working across both short- and long-form formats
• Develop a strong understanding of digital advertising, including search, video, and performance marketing, and apply that knowledge to storytelling
• Partner with product, marketing, research, and editorial teams to ensure content reflects product priorities and broader narrative goals
• Support sales and events teams with content tied to launches, moments, and integrated campaigns
• Manage the full content lifecycle with minimal oversight, keeping work on track and aligned with business goals
• Keep up with trends across marketing, media, AI, and storytelling so the work stays relevant and credible

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in journalism, media, or content marketing
• Strong feature writing ability, ideally gained in a newsroom of a major publication
• Strong video ideation and production skills, ideally gained in a newsroom, agency or creative team
• A strong portfolio of real-life work examples that shows both sharp writing and video production
• Solid understanding of the digital advertising industry; especially search, video, or advertising platforms
• High level of ownership and follow-through

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in journalism, media, or content marketing.
