Togetherhood is seeking creative arts teachers in Boston to provide flexible, well-paying supplemental work for K-12 students. Instructors will create and deliver their own age-appropriate curriculum in various creative arts.
Responsibilities
- Conceive and create an age-appropriate curriculum for your class
- Create memorable experiences for children to help them grow and develop a passion for your art
- Consistently arrive at class on time (or early), prepared with the lesson plan for the day
- Help children understand why your art is wonderful and how it's shaped you as a person
Requirements
- Experience teaching school age children
- Excitement, joy, and passion for both teaching kids and personal development/learning
- Ability to create a fun, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Cooperative, supportive, flexible demeanor
- Dependable, proactive, and autonomous nature
