This Costing Manager role involves overseeing and analyzing cost data to support financial decision-making, developing cost estimates, monitoring production costs, and creating cost-saving strategies for automotive lighting systems and chassis components.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and analyze cost data to support financial decision-making
- Develop cost estimates for new projects
- Monitor production costs
- Create cost-saving strategies
- Prepare detailed cost reports
- Ensure alignment with company objectives
- Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure competitive pricing and accurate forecasting
Requirements
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and data analysis skills
- Proficiency in cost management, budgeting, and developing cost-saving initiatives
- Knowledge and experience with ERP systems and financial software
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Prior experience in cost accounting or financial analysis in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
