The Corporate Quality Manager defines and strengthens MacLean Power Systems' quality strategy, supporting the development, execution, and sustainability of corporate management across all business units. This role is instrumental in aligning quality, process, and manufacturing strategies throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy corporate quality strategies aligned with organizational objectives and industry best practices
- Administer and strengthen core elements of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO standards
- Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of quality performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements
- Oversee the global implementation and governance of electronic quality management system (EQMS) software
- Develop and deliver training programs on quality management systems, risk management, and structured problem-solving methodologies
- Support the execution of the corporate internal audit program, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and internal policies
- Coordinate and facilitate external certification audits, acting as a key liaison with certification bodies
- Lead or support structured problem-solving efforts related to nonconformances, incidents, and customer complaints
- Drive standardization initiatives across the organization
- Serve as a strategic link between corporate and site-level quality teams
- Support new product development by embedding quality requirements throughout the product lifecycle
- Assist in the development and deployment of a supplier quality management system
- Contribute to the creation and refinement of customer requirement management systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science discipline
- 5+ years in a manufacturing environment
- 5-7 years' experience in Quality Management Systems
- Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 9001 (minimum)
- Knowledge of IATF 16949
- Experience in electronic QMS systems
- Experience in Metrology gage tracking systems
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints
- Ability to travel 30-40%
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science discipline
- 5+ years in a manufacturing environment with 5-7 years' experience in Quality Management Systems
Nice to Have
- Additional certifications and practical experience in ISO 14001
- Additional certifications and practical experience in ISO 45001
- Experience with ETQ software
- Experience in supplier quality audits and risk assessment
