Corporate Communications Intern

About This Role

This role involves creating engaging content and supporting design projects to enhance the company's brand and execute its strategy within the metal beverage can industry. The intern will contribute to internal and external communications.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all aspects of content creation, including writing, editing, and proofreading of internal and external communications
• Support for written corporate communications, social media, light design work and small project management to promote the brand and sustainability efforts
• Support the design of visuals, infographics, and presentations using basic graphic design tools
• Coordinate small projects by communicating with stakeholders across 10 North American locations
• Support Sustainability functions and DEI functions as onsite support for events and culture-related projects
• Support various stages of media production, including sourcing stock footage, audio tracks and motion graphics
• Support general administrative and project-based tasks as needed

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors’ degree from a 4-year accredited university
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience conducting research
• Self-starter
• Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to follow policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ degree from a 4-year accredited university
