Core Lab - Medical Technologist

About This Role

Support the delivery of patient care by performing laboratory testing for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease as a Medical Lab Scientist- Generalist in the Core Lab.

Responsibilities

• Perform all laboratory testing, including the pre-examination phase, in accordance with standard operating procedures and accreditation guidelines
• Conduct and document established quality control procedures on analytical tests, equipment, reagents, media, and products
• Evaluate the results of quality control testing and implement corrective action according to established protocols to ensure the accuracy and quality of patient testing

Requirements

• Experience with waived, moderate, and high complexity testing in a clinical laboratory setting through education or work experience
• Bachelor's Degree/Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Science Program (Medical Technology, Medical Technician, Medical Laboratory Science)
• Experience in High Complexity Testing
• Experience in High Volume Clinical Lab
• Blood Bank Experience or recent MLS education

• Bachelor's Degree/Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Science Program
• Experience with waived, moderate, and high complexity testing in a clinical laboratory setting through education or work experience required
