About This Role

Join La Posada at Pusch Ridge as a Cook Salad Prep to prepare fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented salads and cold dishes in a high-end, upscale kitchen environment, ensuring every meal meets the highest standards of taste, quality, and presentation for residents and guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh salads, dressings, and other cold food items based on daily menus and production charts
• Ensure all ingredients are properly stored, prepared, and presented according to safety and sanitation standards
• Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment used in food preparation
• Keep work and storage areas clean and organized, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Assist in setting up for special events and catering functions
• Follow standardized recipes and preparation guidelines to maintain quality and consistency
• Maintain accurate logbooks and records in accordance with Dining Service procedures
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and in-service events as required

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a high-volume restaurant setting as a Cook Salad Prep or similar role
• ServSafe food safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced kitchen
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
• Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide outstanding service
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a high-volume restaurant setting as a Cook Salad Prep or similar role
