About This Role

This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining SCADA systems, electrical, instrumentation, and controls for municipal water/wastewater projects throughout Texas. The engineer will act as a corporate liaison, provide system programming, and perform problem-solving and repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as corporate liaison for local water/wastewater utilities regarding system upgrades, service, and project support
  • Provide system programming and complete acceptance tests
  • Maintain systems by problem-solving, testing, diagnosing problems, and completing repairs on electronic control panels, radio communication devices, computer systems, networks, and software
  • Document original systems, upgrades, and repairs and complete work orders for invoicing
  • Comply with regulations by adhering to codes, specifications, and rules, and reading blueprints and technical bulletins
  • Ensure company-provided installation & service equipment and vehicles are operating correctly
  • Update job knowledge through recertification, educational opportunities, and technical publications
  • Provide technical support for outside sales missions as needed
