About This Role

This role will partner with Plant Management to find and act on improvement opportunities, implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, safety, cost efficiency, quality, and effectiveness in manufacturing settings.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current processes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Implement process changes and improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs
  • Use lean tools such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, etc., to optimize operations
  • Lead and manage continuous improvement projects from inception through completion
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and objectives
  • Collect and analyze data to track performance and improvement in key metrics
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project results and findings to management and stakeholders
  • Train and coach employees on continuous improvement concepts and tools
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization
  • Ensure that processes remain compliant with internal and external quality standards and regulations
  • Participate in audits and quality checks to maintain standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a continuous improvement role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in using statistical analysis software and lean manufacturing tools
  • Excellent project management abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent to 5+ years of experience with Continuous Improvement / Lean responsibilities
  • 5+ years of experience with Continuous Improvement / Lean responsibilities
