The Consultant III Loss Control provides professional loss control services to Tokio Marine clients, focusing on multiline coverage including Workers Compensation, Automobile, and General Liability. This role involves conducting surveys to evaluate exposures, determining safety management controls, and developing recommendations to assist clients in minimizing loss.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional loss control services to Tokio Marine Clients and Tokio Marine Management, Inc.
- Offer multiline service covering Workers Compensation, Automobile, General Liability, Non-HPR property, Ocean Marine, and Inland Marine.
- Coordinate and conduct loss control surveys to determine client operations, evaluate exposure, and assess safety management controls.
- Develop recommendations for control improvement and assist clients in minimizing loss.
- Formulate information for Underwriting to evaluate risk and insurability.
- Provide loss control technical support to Tokio Marine Clients and Departments like Underwriting, Claim, and Coordination.
- Prepare reports for external clients (Insured and Producer) and internal clients (Underwriting and Coordination).
- Assist in the development and presentation of programs and training seminars for clients and other departments.
- Respond to special requests from Underwriting Department and clients with prior approval.
- Develop and maintain Loss Control Service Plans/Instructions for multi-location clients.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience servicing major accounts in loss control
- Specialty in casualty and property loss control
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Capable of making presentations to groups
- Good computer skills including Microsoft software and TMM internal programs
- Physically capable of performing job requirements (walking, carrying, climbing)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science preferred
- Five years' experience servicing major accounts (multi-locations and $100,000 premium and up) in loss control, or equivalent experience may substitute for a Bachelor's Degree.
