Construction Supervisor

About This Role

Oversee construction activities for waste and recycling projects across multiple job sites within a designated market area. This role requires frequent travel and hands-on leadership to supervise crews and ensure project completion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities across multiple job sites
• Supervise crews, manage schedules, and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification
• Work under limited supervision and establish procedures to accomplish assigned tasks
• Ensure all work is performed according to plans, specifications, and building codes
• Interpret blueprints, site plans, and project specifications to ensure correct concrete placement and formwork
• Manage day-to-day construction activities, including site prep, inspections, coordination of field teams and subcontractors
• Maintain high quality standards on all projects, conducting daily site visits and inspections, addressing any issues promptly
• Coordinate deliveries, equipment, and material needs with suppliers and project management
• Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly and professionally

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience supervising concrete forming in commercial or heavy construction
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Strong knowledge of concrete forming systems and concrete finishing
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and enforcement on active sites
