The Construction Quality Control Technician is responsible for sampling and testing aggregate and hot mix asphalt products to ensure they meet customer specifications. This role supports production teams and reports results to management and road construction crews.
Responsibilities
- Sample and test aggregate products
- Sample and test hot mix asphalt products
- Coordinate with production to ensure products meet customer specifications
- Report testing results to the management team and road construction crews
- Follow company safety programs and policies to mitigate risk and improve productivity
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Detail oriented
- Ability to listen and follow protocols/procedures
- Competent in math and computer skills (spreadsheets & email)
- Physically fit to stand, squat, bend, lift, and walk for long durations
- Reliable transportation
- Must be at least 18 years old

- Previous quality control experience
