Construction Project Engineer

About This Role

The Construction Project Engineer will support Project Managers by managing project documentation, coordinating subcontracts, and tracking materials and costs. This role offers strong career growth within a leading maintenance, repair, site work, and specialty construction contractor.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project document control for office and site locations
• Communicate project status updates consistently with project leadership and stakeholders
• Coordinate subcontract needs and manage related documents
• Prepare and update material delivery schedules
• Review, manage and distribute all project plan and shop drawings
• Review and interpret contract drawings and specifications
• Perform material tracking, yields and cost projection procedures
• Manage change order activity
• Assemble and maintain project documents and resources
• Review and track concrete testing results

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field
• Strong work ethic and tenacity
• Experience in a construction environment
• Ability to effectively work in teams
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience
• Driver's License

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field
• 2+ years in project engineering (preferred) within a construction environment

Nice to Have

• 2+ years Project Engineering experience
