About This Role

Supervise compounding operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity in a manufacturing environment. Lead and develop a team of production employees to meet company objectives and customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and promote safety in all aspects of the Compounding Department.
  • Maintain and uphold quality procedures and programs, ensuring associates follow documented processes.
  • Maximize productivity and efficiency at all times.
  • Organize the workforce and set appropriate staffing levels.
  • Accurately manage and report timekeeping, production, scrap/yields, and other documentation.
  • Effectively communicate with subordinates, peers, senior leadership, and other departments.
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration to meet project objectives.
  • Maintain and promote strong work ethics, upholding company policies and procedures.
  • Motivate, mentor, train, coach, and develop staff.
  • Support customer needs by ensuring correct batch formulas and mixing procedures.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years experience supervising production employees in manufacturing
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Google Suite
  • Experience with inventory/manufacturing software programs
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to raw materials, powders, liquids, noise, and varying temperatures
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to wear required PPE (hairnets, beard nets, gloves, safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, respirators)
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays
  • Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds regularly; up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Compliance with GMP, FDA, OSHA, and company safety requirements

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years supervising production employees in a manufacturing environment.
