Composites Technician

About This Role

This role involves transforming design concepts into precise composite components, requiring hands-on work and problem-solving skills to build complex structures. The Composites Technician will be integral in identifying manufacturability challenges and improving production processes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out accurate composite layups and cure operations
• Prepare molds, materials, tools, and workspaces
• Build or modify tooling, fixtures, and test setups
• Maintain and organize composites equipment and supplies
• Troubleshoot unusual build challenges and propose solutions
• Collaborate with engineers on design and process improvements

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience working with composites (e.g., carbon fiber, pre-preg, thin structures)
• Ability to produce high-quality parts using manual techniques
• Experience with custom tooling or small-batch builds
