About This Role

This apprenticeship program develops individuals for a successful sales career in the insurance industry by building prospecting and product knowledge, while establishing client relationships within local communities.

Responsibilities

• Develop complete knowledge of insurance products, systems, business operations, and sales strategy
• Assist Sales Agents in daily and weekly activities which include creation of prospecting plans, developing Centers of Influence (COI) relationships
• Create marketing and prospecting techniques to meet established targets for new business policies and premium in partnership with Sales Manager and Sales Agents
• Advise prospects and policyholders on appropriate protection and coverage by conducting customer needs analysis to determine multiple selling opportunities
• Establish relationships and promote Comparion brand awareness through community marketing events
• Advance the Company's current advertising campaigns and project a positive corporate image in the community
• Leverage community relationships to increase selling opportunities
• Prospect and initiate new business sales
• Assist in the processing of new business, including contacting customers to finalize sales transactions
