Provide non-medical in-home care to seniors, making a positive impact on their lives by promoting safety and independence. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship to seniors
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing and bathroom assistance
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and linen changing
- Lay out clothes and assist with dressing
- Plan and prepare meals
- Provide medication reminders
- Provide transportation to and from appointments
Requirements
- Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
- Negative TB test results
- Strict adherence to all state regulations and standards as a home care aid
- Valid driver’s license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules
- Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
