About This Role

As a Community Consultant (Leasing Agent) at The Palms at Morada Apartments, you will be responsible for touring units with prospective tenants, managing tenant relations, and assisting residents throughout the rental process. This role is crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction and contributing to the property's success.

Responsibilities

  • Tour units with prospective tenants and highlight property qualities
  • Handle customer and tenant relations, ensuring prompt resolution of issues with high-level customer service
  • Maintain knowledge of the current area market
  • Prepare and maintain reports for managers
  • Host community events, ensuring compliance with American Property Management’s Quality Standards
  • Assist residents from beginning to end of the rental process

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience in customer service
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Proficient in effective communication and teamwork
  • Positive outlook and collaborative team approach
  • Responsibility and pride in work
  • Fluent in English, with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years' experience in customer service is required; 1+ years’ experience in the multifamily/student housing industry within the last 10 years preferred

Nice to Have

  • 1+ years’ experience in the multifamily/student housing industry within the last 10 years
  • Knowledge of Federal Fair Housing Laws, Landlord/Tenant Laws and ADA laws
