Commercial Roofing Project Manager

About This Role

Manage all aspects of commercial roofing projects, from planning to completion, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. This role involves frequent travel to project sites and hands-on management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of commercial roofing projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining professional communication and strong relationships
• Coordinate with foremen, crews, suppliers, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule and within budget
• Manage inventory and materials: order, track, verify deliveries, and maintain accurate usage records
• Review contracts, specifications, and site drawings for accuracy and compliance
• Monitor project progress, costs, and labor; proactively resolve challenges
• Maintain essential project records, including reports, change orders, submittals, and RFIs
• Conduct site visits to monitor job status, ensure safety compliance, track inventory, and verify workmanship
• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards at all times

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing
• 2-3 years of construction project management experience
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, Built-Up, Metal, etc.)
• Experience in inventory and materials management for construction or roofing projects
• Solid organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Proficiency with basic office software tools (email, word processing, spreadsheets)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable with frequent travel and overnight stays

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in commercial roofing and 2-3 years of construction project management experience

Nice to Have

• OSHA 30 certification
