Commercial Loan Specialist

About This Role

Join our commercial lending team as a Commercial Loan Specialist, where you will manage loan processing, ensure file compliance, and provide exceptional service to business members, while supporting their financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Drive loan processing from start to finish, gathering all necessary documentation including credit bureau reports, UCC filings, loan funding, and system entries
• Monitor ongoing requirements such as financial statements, insurance updates, satisfactions, and borrowing base certificates to maintain full compliance
• Maintain, organize, and manage all commercial lending files, performing administrative duties to keep everything accurate and accessible
• Deliver exceptional member service by supporting business members, answering questions, and guiding them through the lending process
• Collaborate with Credit Analysts to manage file requirements, ticklers, and credit denials when necessary
• Review loan documentation before closing to reduce exceptions and post-closing issues, ensuring every file meets regulatory and internal standards
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance procedures, and elevate the overall member experience

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-4 years of experience in a related field

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in a related field
