Join TriMark USA as a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and install commercial kitchen equipment, ensuring smooth operation for restaurants, stadiums, and hospitals. This role supports the foodservice industry by maintaining essential equipment with expert service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and install commercial kitchen equipment including refrigeration, cooking, and dishwashing systems
- Handle on-call rotation and complex troubleshooting
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and parts in an organized and safe manner
- Learn from experienced technicians or mentor junior team members, depending on level
- Lead and follow safety protocols, ensuring all installs and repairs meet manufacturer standards
- Perform regular safety checks on tools, vehicles, and equipment
- Document work orders and service reports accurately using a company tablet
- Partner with customers, manufacturers, and sales representatives to provide top-notch service
- Apply creative thinking to challenging repair situations and determine when to seek additional support
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude or related technical education (Associate Technician)
- 1-2 years of experience servicing or installing commercial kitchen or refrigeration equipment (Service Technician)
- 3+ years of advanced, hands-on experience leading complex installations and mentoring others (Senior Service Technician)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen post offer acceptance
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. safely
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crawl, and climb as needed
- Ability to use hands and tools with precision and care
Qualifications
- Technical or trade school training preferred (especially refrigeration)
- Entry-level role for individuals with mechanical aptitude, willing to learn, or with related technical education. Service Technician requires 1-2 years experience, Senior Service Technician requires 3+ years experience.
