This role involves managing a diverse book of commercial property & casualty accounts, focusing on client relationships, new business, renewals, and operational improvements for Cothrom in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Responsibilities
- Handle a diverse book of commercial property & casualty accounts
- Maintain customer relationships
- Market new business and renewals
- Monitor and maintain service goals
- Report and follow up on claims
- Identify and seek cross-sell opportunities
- Recommend agency operational improvements
- Expand insurance and managerial skills
Requirements
- Integrity to build trust and relationships
- Intelligence to learn new skills, add industry knowledge, and problem solve independently
- Desire to be productive during work hours and complete tasks efficiently
Qualifications
- Prior commercial P&C industry experience (desired)
Nice to Have
- Prior commercial P&C industry experience
- Comfort using Applied Systems, electronic signature systems, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat etc.
- Professionalism in oral and written communication
- Acquisition or pursuit of industry designations such as the CPCU
