About This Role

This role involves managing a diverse book of commercial property & casualty accounts, focusing on client relationships, new business, renewals, and operational improvements for Cothrom in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a diverse book of commercial property & casualty accounts
  • Maintain customer relationships
  • Market new business and renewals
  • Monitor and maintain service goals
  • Report and follow up on claims
  • Identify and seek cross-sell opportunities
  • Recommend agency operational improvements
  • Expand insurance and managerial skills

Requirements

  • Integrity to build trust and relationships
  • Intelligence to learn new skills, add industry knowledge, and problem solve independently
  • Desire to be productive during work hours and complete tasks efficiently

Qualifications

  • Prior commercial P&C industry experience (desired)

Nice to Have

  • Prior commercial P&C industry experience
  • Comfort using Applied Systems, electronic signature systems, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat etc.
  • Professionalism in oral and written communication
  • Acquisition or pursuit of industry designations such as the CPCU
