Commercial Installation Technician

About This Role

This role is for an experienced HVAC Commercial Installer responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial settings, focusing on high technical expertise and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air handlers, indoor coils, UV lights, air cleaners, and humidifiers, following manufacturer specifications and company standards
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity
• Carry out wiring of both low and line voltage to cooling and heating equipment
• Install flex and sheet metal duct systems in commercial buildings
• Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering
• Ensure proper connection of gas lines to heating equipment
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring high levels of satisfaction
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
• Complete necessary paperwork accurately and timely, including job reports and inventory logs
• Provide guidance and training to HVAC installer helpers to develop their skills

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance
• Valid Kentucky Journeyman License
• Strong mechanical knowledge
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Ability to work at heights
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to provide references

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance
