As a Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and calibrate commercial HVAC/R systems for Helios, a fast-growing mechanical service provider. This role emphasizes independent problem-solving and delivering quality service to clients.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and calibrate commercial HVAC/R systems
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Communicate effectively with customers and support staff
- Keep company van stocked and tools sharp
- Deliver quality service and integrity daily
- Be a reliable resource for nights, weekends, and on-call emergencies
- Invest in skills through training and certifications
Requirements
- Ability to diagnose, repair, and calibrate commercial HVAC/R systems
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliability for nights, weekends, and on-call emergencies
- Ability to pass a background check
- Valid driver's license
Qualifications
- 2+ years in commercial HVAC, refrigeration experience is a plus
Nice to Have
- 2+ years in commercial HVAC
- Refrigeration experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and heating principles
- Proficiency in reading schematics and work plans
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic technology skills (mobile apps, documentation)
