Commercial Door and Hardware Project Manager

About This Role

Manage commercial door and hardware projects, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of Division 8 and 10 materials. This role involves reviewing blueprints, providing quotes, coordinating deliveries, and troubleshooting issues to maintain strong customer and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints and construction documents to determine required Division 8 and or Division 10 materials and verify accuracy and compatibility
• Provide quotes to customers for commercial doors, frames, and hardware
• Create submittals for doors, frames, and hardware summarizing Division 8 and 10 materials for review
• Add materials needed for each customer order into LockNet's system and manage delivery dates
• Coordinate delivery of materials with site contacts according to project schedule and deadlines
• Maintain external relationships by following up to ensure safe and timely arrival of material
• Troubleshoot errors such as application or installation issues, construction plan changes, damaged/defective materials, or incorrectly supplied materials
• Regularly interface and coordinate with other departments (Accounting, Sales, Purchasing, etc.)

Requirements

• 6-8 years experience in Division 8 Project Management
• Experience working with Comsense
• Skilled in reading blueprints and plans and creating submittals
• Understanding of architectural door and hardware vendors, part numbers/nomenclature, and product applications
• Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills

Qualifications

• 6-8 years experience in Division 8 Project Management

• Experience working in Avaware
• Architectural Hardware Certification
