Collision / Body Shop Technician

About This Role

The Collision / Body Shop Technician diagnoses and repairs a wide variety of automotive issues, including engine, transmission, electrical, and collision damage, to ensure customer satisfaction at Kenneth's Car Care. This role requires in-depth knowledge of automotive systems and efficient troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on all types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs
• Handle all aspects of automotive repairs, from engine work and transmission repairs to electrical systems and collision repair
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and body-related issues
• Work efficiently and accurately while adhering to company and industry standards
• Keep detailed records of all repairs and services performed
• Ensure quality control of all completed work and customer satisfaction
• Stay updated with the latest automotive repair techniques and technologies
• Work collaboratively with other team members in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and answering customer questions when necessary

Requirements

• ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification or equivalent
• Proven experience as an A-Tech or in a similar automotive repair role
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, repair procedures, and diagnostics
• Ability to work on a wide variety of makes and models
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
• A positive attitude and a commitment to providing the best possible service

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an A-Tech or in a similar automotive repair role
