Setup, program, and operate CNC controlled steel wire forming equipment for a manufacturing company, ensuring clean-up and housekeeping procedures are followed.
Responsibilities
- Setup, program, operate and adjust CNC controlled steel wire forming equipment.
- Setup, operate and adjust mechanical and manual steel wire forming equipment.
- Cross-train and perform other job tasks when necessary.
- Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures.
Requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of steel wire forming characteristics.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids.
- Positive, 'can do' attitude.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience with CNC and manual wire forming equipment.
- Previous experience with AIM wire formers and Fanuc controls.
- Certificate from college or technical school.
