This role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce semi-complex polycarbonate components for proof-of-concept projects. The role requires precision, flexibility, and collaboration with engineers to implement design modifications.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate Ginutche machines and 3-axis Haas Mini Mills
- Work with Mitsubishi or Fanuc controllers
- Machine prototype parts with tight tolerances and changing specifications
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
- Collaborate closely with engineers to implement design updates and modifications
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in CNC programming and machining
- Proficiency in CAM software
- Experience working in prototype or low-volume production environments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
