About This Role

Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients in a psychiatric setting, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Utilize skills to support patients experiencing mental health crises and substance addictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of an RN
• Adhere to policies and procedures
• Advocate for patients and staff safety
• Communicate respectfully with social workers, nurses, CNAs, and housekeepers

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• High School diploma or GED required
• Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program required
• State registered CNA license required
• Basic computer skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required, Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program required
• Six months previous CNA experience preferred

Nice to Have

• Six months previous CNA experience
• Previous customer service experience
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training
