CNA / Home Health Aide

About This Role

The Home Health Aide will provide personalized care and support to individuals in their homes, assisting with daily needs, medication, and light household tasks. This role focuses on maintaining client dignity and independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily needs, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Remind individuals to take medication and offer help with administering it
• Keep track of vital signs and promptly communicate any changes to the healthcare team
• Take care of light household tasks to ensure a clean and safe living environment
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals that meet specific dietary requirements
• Engage in meaningful and compassionate conversations with clients
• Offer emotional support and companionship to clients and their families

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved training program for Home Health Aides
• Valid certification as a Home Health Aide
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Home Health Aide
• Ability to safely lift and move clients using proper body mechanics
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Current CPR Certification

Qualifications
