Club General Manager

About This Role

Oversee gym operations to ensure an exceptional member experience and a financially successful club. Lead, train, and develop a team of employees while maintaining P&L accountability.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members, prospective members, and guests
• Recruit, hire, train and develop a high performing team
• Schedule team and ensure all shifts are covered
• Lead by example and maintain consistent accountability for direct reports
• Administer and process weekly employee payroll
• Resolve employee issues or concerns with diplomacy and professionalism
• Handle front desk activities including answering phones and checking in members
• Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of facility and determine equipment repair needs
• Manage marketing efforts and train the team on promotions
• Authorize expenditures and refunds, making daily bank deposits if applicable
• Prepare HR related forms and send to Corporate Payroll Team

Requirements

• 1+ year management experience
• 2+ years customer service experience
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• At least 1 year management experience and at least 2 years customer service experience.
