About This Role

This Cloud Engineer role involves migrating and modernizing an existing tool from an on-prem environment to a cloud-based infrastructure, supporting government missions and protecting national cyber interests.

Responsibilities

  • Help lead a small team to migrate and modernize an existing tool from an on-prem environment to a cloud-based infrastructure
  • Contribute to application development by writing clean, maintainable code when needed

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Kubernetes for container orchestration
  • Experience with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)
  • Strong understanding of database management, particularly with Neo4j and Amazon Neptune
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code and DevOps practices
  • TS/SCI with Poly security clearance

Nice to Have

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
  • Background in software engineering, including experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go)
